Location: Could be based in Spencer, IA, Sioux Center, IA, or Sheldon, IA
Pay Range: $22.00-$26.00 per hour (Depending on years of experience, education, and license level)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm plus 1 week on-call every 4 weeks
About the Job
Seasons is seeking an experienced and compassionate Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. ACT is an innovative, evidence-based outpatient program serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team to provide comprehensive, person-centered care. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating services to support client recovery and stability.
The ACT program is highly team oriented, so our ideal candidate values a collaborative approach to care and has excellent communication and clinical skills.
Requirements
- Must hold an independent Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification (CADC, IADC, or IAADC) or an equivalent certification from another state AND have at least three years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders
- This position requires travel, so a valid driver’s license is required
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required
